Created to commemorate Wtopia’s 10th Anniversary, this exceptional ONE-OFF EDC Challenge Coin / Worry Stone is a special collaboration between Wtopia and Sunizumi Shoten.

The body is crafted from an irregularly shaped piece of Mokume Gane, giving the work a completely individual silhouette rather than the conventional round profile of a challenge coin.

Mokume Gane is known for its flowing, woodgrain-like layered metal patterns. The complex surface reveals different lines and tonal transitions depending on the viewing angle, making every piece naturally unique.

This edition features an especially thick and substantial construction. Measuring approximately 35 × 23.8 mm while weighing an impressive 121.3 g, it delivers an unusually dense and satisfying feel in the hand.

The front is accented with a signature Wtopia bronze floral motif and silver skull inlay, creating a striking contrast between warm bronze, bright silver, and the intricate layered pattern of Mokume Gane.

It can be enjoyed as an EDC challenge coin, a tactile worry stone, or simply as a highly distinctive collectible metalwork piece.

Material & Care

Mokume Gane, bronze, and silver naturally develop oxidation, tonal changes, and patina through exposure to air and regular handling.

These changes are part of the natural character of the materials.

After handling, gently wipe the piece with a soft, dry cloth and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, salt, acidic liquids, and harsh chemicals.

To preserve the layered appearance and naturally developing patina of the Mokume Gane, avoid frequent use of aggressive metal polishes or abrasive cleaners.
