Refund policy
If there are quality issues with the product, it may not meet your expectations. If you wish to return an item with quality issues, please initiate the return process via email at info@sunizumi.com.
General Return Guidelines:
- Eligibility: General stock items with quality issues are accepted for return within 5 days of receipt. This period is sufficient to determine if the product meets quality standards.
- Return Authorization: Before sending the product back, please contact info@sunizumi.com to obtain return authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
- Condition: Items must be returned in new and unused condition. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria.
- Restocking Fee: If the item is defective, restocking fees are waived. However, for returns due to other reasons, a 15% restocking fee may apply to offset shipping costs, credit card fees, and labor costs.
- Cancellation: If you cancel an order before it is shipped, a 5% service charge will be applied to cover the costs imposed by the credit card processor.
- Refunds: After receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will process the refund. Refunds will generally be in the original form of payment, but shipping costs are not refundable.
- Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. In cases of our error or quality issues, we may provide a prepaid return label.
- Insurance: We strongly recommend insuring the returned package. We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
Exchanges:
- Exchange Period: We welcome exchanges for items with quality issues within 3 days of receipt. The same conditions for returns apply to exchanges.
- Approval: You need to obtain a return authorization number before sending the item back for an exchange.
- Restocking Fee: There is no restocking fee for exchanges of equal or greater value, but shipping fees apply.
Special Artisan Collaboration Series:
- Exclusivity: Items in the Artisan Collaboration Series are made with unique craftsmanship and have limited availability.
- Final Sale: Due to the unique nature and limited availability of these items, all sales of Artisan Collaboration Series products are final. Returns or exchanges for these items will not be accepted unless they are defective upon receipt.
