Wtopia 10th Anniversary × Sunizumi Shoten ONE-OFF Mokume Gane Collaboration

Created to commemorate Wtopia’s 10th Anniversary, this rare ONE-OFF EDC Challenge Coin / Worry Stone is a special collaboration between Wtopia and Sunizumi Shoten.

The body is crafted from an organically shaped piece of Mokume Gane, preserving the naturally irregular silhouette of the material rather than following the conventional round profile of a challenge coin.

Mokume Gane is celebrated for its flowing, woodgrain-like layers created through the combination and working of multiple metals. Every section reveals its own pattern, direction, and tonal variation, making each finished piece inherently unique.

The front features Wtopia’s distinctive bronze floral motif with a silver skull inlay, creating a striking contrast against the complex layered character of the Mokume Gane.

Despite measuring only approximately 35 × 22 mm, the piece weighs around 110 g, giving it an exceptionally dense and substantial feel in the hand.

It can be enjoyed as an EDC challenge coin, a tactile worry stone, or as a collectible piece of Japanese metalwork.

As a true ONE-OFF collaboration, its irregular form and naturally unique Mokume Gane pattern make this piece impossible to reproduce exactly.

Material & Care

Mokume Gane, bronze, and silver naturally develop oxidation, tonal variations, and patina through exposure to air and regular handling.

Gently wipe the piece with a soft, dry cloth after handling and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, salt, acidic liquids, or harsh chemicals.

To preserve the natural layered appearance and evolving patina, avoid frequent use of aggressive metal polishes or abrasive cleaners.
