A rare ONE-OFF piece conceived by Sunizumi Shoten and created by Wtopia, marking a special collaboration for Wtopia’s 10th anniversary.

Built around a PELICAN , the design brings Wtopia’s important “Evlove” narrative together with traditional Japanese Mokume Gane, twin silver skulls, bronze floral motifs, and the Sunizumi silver crest.

Hand-signed by the maker and accompanied by a hand-signed certificate card.

The Story Behind the Design

Wtopia Evlove · Floral Metaverse Tool Case

This project began with a practical idea from Sunizumi Shoten.

We wanted an EDC storage case that could serve three purposes at once: practical storage, display, and room to evolve as the collection grows.

Wtopia was given that idea as the starting point.

“Evlove” is one of the most important narratives within Wtopia’s creative world.

The name originates from “Evolve” — to develop and transform — and is reimagined through “Love.” It reflects Wtopia’s own interpretation of love, while the idea of continuous evolution, transformation, and new forms runs through the series.

For this collaboration, Wtopia responded to Sunizumi Shoten’s request for utility, display, and expandability through its approach to form, material composition, and metalwork.

The PELICAN 1120 became the foundation, while the floral language of Evlove was expressed through Wtopia’s signature motifs and traditional Japanese Mokume Gane.

Layered metal patterns form the visual center of the piece, accompanied by two silver skulls, bronze floral details, and a Sunizumi silver crest inlaid into copper.

The result transforms a functional protective case into a ONE-OFF object where Wtopia’s evolving narrative, Japanese metal craftsmanship, and EDC collecting culture meet.

It remains a case made to be used, but also an object to display, collect, and allow to evolve through time.

Care

Mokume Gane, silver, bronze, and copper may naturally oxidize and develop their own patina through age and handling.

Gently wipe the metal details with a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive compounds, strong acidic or alkaline cleaners, and corrosive chemicals.
