This “Aki Kaze” is a handmade fixed blade crafted by the renowned Japanese knifemaker Kiku Matsuda.
It is an extremely rare Exhibition Piece created specifically for the Lake Biwa Knife Exhibition held in Shiga, Japan.
The blade uses SPG2 laminated steel, one of the finest high-performance steels available in Japan.
With a thickness of approximately 4mm, it delivers exceptional hardness, edge retention, toughness, and cutting performance—hallmarks of Matsuda’s craftsmanship.
The handle is made of durable G10 black, offering excellent weather resistance, long-term durability, and a secure, comfortable grip.
Weighing approximately 200g (excluding sheath), the knife maintains superb balance and maneuverability, making it ideal for outdoor and practical use.
The included Kydex sheath provides outstanding retention and rugged reliability for field carry.
