This is a large, hand-carved titanium bead by Tang, featuring organic wood grain textures with a subtle “branch shadow” motif.

The surface is entirely sculpted by hand, recreating the flowing patterns of natural wood. Along the body, three inverted claw-like marks are deliberately carved into the texture—adding a sense of tension and narrative, as if the surface has been marked by something wild and unseen.

Unlike uniform machine finishes, the bead retains fine tool marks, irregular depth, and layered transitions. These hand-worked details give the titanium a raw, almost geological presence—somewhere between wood, stone, and metal.

As light moves across the surface, the carved textures reveal shifting highlights and shadows, enhancing its depth and character.
