Meet the SUNIZUMI KNIVES “Brown Bear” — an exclusive ONE-OFF handmade custom knife created for the Seki Knife Show in Japan.

Inspired by the bold proportions of a vintage Bowie knife, this extraordinary piece combines an exceptionally thick blade, natural Japanese deer antler, and traditional handcrafted details.

The blade is crafted from ATS-34 layered steel, featuring an impressive 7mm blade thickness that gives the knife its unmistakably powerful silhouette.

Its defining feature is a distinctive two-stage grind. A broad flat grind toward the front of the blade is designed for cutting, while a hollow grind near the heel creates a striking transition in geometry and visual depth.

The handle is made from natural Japanese deer antler, secured with hand-hammered copper rivets. The organic antler texture and warm copper accents perfectly complement the knife's vintage character.

A handcrafted vegetable-tanned leather sheath completes the piece.

Measuring approximately 260mm overall with a 143mm blade, the Brown Bear weighs a substantial 418 grams without the sheath.
