Inspired by the distinctive shape of the Hakofugu (Japanese Boxfish), this miniature craft knife pairs a mirror-polished stainless steel blade with a beautifully sculpted wooden fish-shaped sheath.

Each sheath is individually hand-carved, hand-painted, and lacquer finished, faithfully capturing the bold markings, vivid colors, and unique form of the Hakofugu. The combination of polished stainless steel, wood carving, painting, and traditional lacquer craftsmanship reflects Kurosawa Tsuguo's remarkable artistic vision and attention to detail.
