Product Description

MechaSEA is a high-precision mechanical ballpoint pen manufactured in Japan by Araki F Machine Co., Ltd.

The body is precision machined from a solid block of A2017 Duralumin, giving the pen a clean, minimal exterior while housing an intricate internal mechanical system.

With the exception of the replaceable refill, all components are made in Japan.

The body features an approximately 12 mm square profile, with a grip base of approximately Φ12 mm and a total weight of about 36 g. The result is a solid, engineered feel without becoming excessive for everyday writing.

MechaSEA accepts G2-format refills. The refill can be replaced by removing the four M1.6 screws at the base of the grip using the included hex key.

Also supplies repair parts, allowing the pen to be maintained and used for many years rather than treated as a disposable writing instrument.

Each pen is supplied with a dedicated Duralumin storage case and hex key.

From its solid-machined construction to its internal mechanism and long-term serviceability, MechaSEA reflects the character of Japanese precision engineering in the form of a writing instrument.
