“Fusen-Uo” (ふうせんうお) is an unconventional collaborative art knife by KIKUKNIVES Masayuki Matsuda × Noriaki Hatono, created with an expressive, sculptural form that moves beyond conventional knife design.

The blade is crafted from OU-31 steel, while the substantial aluminum handle features an original, independently developed surface treatment, producing a distinctive black-purple metallic appearance.

Measuring approximately 155 mm overall with a 93 mm blade and a substantial 25 mm handle thickness, Fusen-Uo brings together custom knifemaking, experimental form, and abstract metal artistry in a highly distinctive piece.
