“Hayate” (疾風) is a one-of-a-kind handmade folding knife by Japanese custom knifemaker Kazuyuki Sakurai.

The knife features a brushed AEB-L stainless steel blade, paired with Ti6Al-4V titanium bolsters featuring a special anodized finish. The handle combines genuine mammoth ivory with titanium, bringing together the natural character of ancient material and precision metal craftsmanship.

A distinctive detail is the Ti6Al-4V titanium thumb notch with an opal inlay, adding a subtle jewelry-inspired accent to the design.

Measuring 185mm overall with an 80mm blade, this custom folder weighs just 96.9 grams. A genuine cowhide leather case is included.
