A handmade custom kitchen knife crafted in Japan by Hiroshi Saito.

The blade is made from SG2 powder stainless steel, a premium Japanese steel known for its fine grain structure, excellent edge retention, and high cutting performance. Its slim approximately 2mm blade provides a precise and responsive cutting feel for everyday food preparation.

The blade surface is individually finished by hand with visible brushed lines. Unlike a uniform machine-applied finish, the hand-brushed texture preserves subtle variations and gives the knife a warm, distinctly handcrafted character.

The handle is made from Karin wood, valued for its rich color, attractive grain, and refined natural appearance. The warmth of the wood contrasts beautifully with the understated metallic finish of the SG2 blade.

With an overall length of approximately 290mm, a blade length of approximately 170mm, and a weight of approximately 115g, the knife offers a light and agile feel in hand. Its versatile blade size is suitable for preparing vegetables, boneless meat, and fish.
