A handmade custom outdoor knife crafted in Japan by Hiroshi Saito.

The blade is made from Gin3, also known as Silver No.3 stainless steel. Known for its fine structure, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance, Gin3 is a refined Japanese steel well suited to a handcrafted outdoor knife.

The blade surface is individually finished by hand with fine brushed lines. The subtle texture softens the metallic appearance while preserving visible traces of the maker’s handwork, giving each knife a distinctive and understated character.

The handle is made from snakewood, a rare natural material admired for its dramatic grain pattern and rich coloration. Its naturally varied markings resemble snakeskin, making every handle visually unique. The dense wooden construction also gives the knife a solid and refined presence in hand.

A handmade vegetable-tanned leather sheath is included. The leather will gradually deepen in color and develop a natural patina through handling and outdoor use, allowing the sheath to acquire its own character over time.

With an overall length of approximately 305mm, a blade length of approximately 170mm, and a blade thickness of approximately 3mm, the knife has a substantial yet balanced profile. The knife weighs approximately 206g, while the leather sheath weighs approximately 150g.
