This handcrafted fixed blade,“Mugetsu,” is made by renowned Japanese bladesmith Kiku Matsuda and was exhibited at the Lake Biwa Knife Exhibition in Shiga, Japan.
Exhibition pieces from Matsuda are extremely rare, often produced as a one-off or in very limited quantities, making this knife highly valuable for both collectors and enthusiasts.
The blade is crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, known for its excellent sharpness retention, corrosion resistance, and balanced performance.
With a blade length of 105 mm and a thickness of approximately 2 mm, “Mugetsu” offers light, agile handling ideal for outdoor and EDC use.
Weighing only about 68 g (without sheath), it is exceptionally lightweight for a fixed-blade knife, providing outstanding maneuverability.
