JCKM Knife Show Recap

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to attend the JCKM Knife Show and experience the work of many skilled makers up close. From material choices to form and finishing details, each piece reflected a strong sense of craftsmanship and individuality. It was a truly inspiring experience and a great reminder of how much there is still to learn and refine.

The show also brought together knife enthusiasts from around the world who share a deep appreciation for Japanese knife culture. Conversations around handmade techniques, design approaches, and craftsmanship created an engaging and meaningful atmosphere.



For Sunizumi, this exhibition marked a new step forward.We introduced several new design directions and received positive feedback from many visitors. This encouragement gives us confidence, while also helping us better understand where we can continue to improve.Looking ahead, we will soon be launching our own kitchen knife line.This is more than just an expansion of our product range—it represents a new chapter where we aim to bring our design philosophy and craftsmanship into everyday use.
